Head Coach
The Head Coach leads the instructional side of the team, planning practices and guiding players’ skill development during games. They set the tone for sportsmanship, teamwork, and learning while supporting the overall leadership of the team.
Assistant Coach
The Assistant Coach supports team leadership by helping run practices, working with players in small groups, and providing additional instruction and encouragement. In some cases, they may also take on a primary teaching role depending on the needs of the team. In BNLL, volunteers in the Assistant Coach designation sometimes take the lead for instruction/practices.
Team Manager
The Team Manager serves as the primary leader and point of contact for the team, coordinating communication between families, coaches, and the league. They help ensure the team runs smoothly throughout the season, both on and off the field, and often share responsibility for coaching and player development. In BNLL, the Team Manager is usually also the Head Coach.
Team Parent
Team Parents support both the off-field and on-field needs of the team by helping with communication, coordination, events, and team organization. They often assist with field preparation and practice activities when extra adult support is needed, helping create a positive and well-run team environment.
